Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FlashCard Chinese mobile application (the "App") provided by HanCard ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App or its content except as permitted by law.
You agree not to use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

2. Subscriptions

The App offers free features and optional paid features ("Pro") through an auto-renewing subscription purchased via the Apple App Store.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its refund policies.

3. Content

Word banks (HSK 1–6 and TOCFL) are provided for personal study. Flashcards you create are stored locally on your device and belong to you.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and built-in content are owned by HanCard and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we work hard to keep the App reliable, we do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that study results will be achieved.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HanCard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions.
